填空部分是一些時(shí)世題，如：我國(guó)有多少網(wǎng)民，三個(gè)代表、北京申奧什么的。還有是記者的一些常識(shí)性的問題：如我國(guó)第一個(gè)以寫新聞通訊出名的記者是誰(shuí)？蔡元培曾經(jīng)夸獎(jiǎng)過的記者是誰(shuí)？
選擇題范圍與填空基本一樣，包括時(shí)政和新聞知識(shí)：如深度采訪的實(shí)質(zhì)，記者的職業(yè)道德等。
簡(jiǎn)答題就比較專業(yè)了。一道是你參加一條高速公路的開通典禮，如何在記者會(huì)上發(fā)的新聞通稿之外寫出會(huì)上沒說的內(nèi)容。一道是你去一個(gè)單位采訪，但沒有任何該單位的證件、邀請(qǐng)函之類東西，你如何騙過門衛(wèi)混進(jìn)去。第三道是有幾家香水公司都想讓你說好話，就是做軟新聞了，你該如何處理。第四道是A明星與B明星不和，你如何報(bào)道A罵B的話而又不能讓B告你誹謗。
寫作題是以“今年冬天不太冷”為題任意想象，加敘加議。
還有五道智力測(cè)驗(yàn)：如何喝道啤酒杯底部的啤酒、汽車過隧道但高2厘米該怎么辦、你吃蘋果時(shí)吃到幾條蟲最惡心之類，10只點(diǎn)燃的蠟燭，讓風(fēng)吹滅了2只，后來在關(guān)窗戶前又吹滅1只。問最后還有幾支。
接下來還有一些心理測(cè)驗(yàn)，就無(wú)所謂對(duì)錯(cuò)了。
